⭐ Situation + Task
As part of an engineering design course, the team was assigned to build a functional prototype of a pharmaceutical dispenser. The goal was to interpret technical drawings and fabricate the model using real materials and safe workshop practices.
⚙️ Action
Interpreted engineering drawings under supervision to understand dimensions and assembly sequence.
Used power and hand tools to cut plywood and aluminum components, including drilling screw holes with precision.
Participated in fabrication and mechanical assembly, ensuring structural alignment and smooth motion of moving parts.
Worked closely with teammates to divide tasks and maintain safe practices throughout the build process.
📈 Result
Successfully completed a working prototype of the dispenser, demonstrating accurate reading-to-build execution.
Improved hands-on skills in shop environments and gained confidence in physical prototyping and team-based assembly.
